Hi, I'm Kristel.

I'm the founder and creative soul behind IZKO EVENTS, and honestly, this journey, even though challenging at times, has been one of my greatest proud and joy.

I was born in the beautiful island of Mauritius and made the move to Australia in my early twenties — and I haven't looked back since. I have made Gold Coast my home with my beautiful family - proud mum of two,  a boy and a girl who, without even knowing it, are the reason IZKO EVENTS exists at all.

It all started with creating milestone moments for my kids and family. I found myself completely in my element — lost in the details, the colours, the styling — and I knew this was something special. But the moment everything truly clicked? Planning and styling my own wedding. From that day forward, I made it my mission to channel my creativity into something meaningful.

    

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME...

I come from a background in Corporate Finance and hold a Health Science degree in Occupational Therapy — so behind the creativity, there's a whole lot of structure, strategy, and attention to detail! I bring all of that into every event I work on. For me, it's never just about making things look beautiful — it's about truly listening to you, understanding your vision, and communicating every step of the way so that together, we create something that exceeds every expectation.

I'm a firm believer in thinking outside the box. The unexpected detail, the creative twist, the element that makes your guests stop and say "wow" — that's what gets me excited every single time.

Every special occasion deserves to feel magical — and that's exactly what I set out to create for every single client. My mission is to transform your space into something that not only looks stunning, but feels like you. Personal, elevated, and completely unforgettable.

I'm meticulous about the products and materials I source because quality truly matters to me — and so does value. I want every client to feel like they received something extraordinary.
